Upon your arrival in Agra, the first breathtaking sight is the iconic Taj Mahal. No words can truly capture the sheer beauty and grandeur of this world-renowned monument. It's a place that transcends expectations and lures travelers from all corners of the globe. You'll enjoy a guided tour of Agra, delving into its rich history and diverse culture. The trip continues with a visit to Agra Fort, also known as the Red Fort. This colossal fort spans a sprawling 94 acres and runs parallel to the Yamuna River, about 2 kilometers to the northwest of the Taj Mahal. It has a storied history, originally held by Sikarwar Rajputs, later captured by the Lodi rulers of Delhi. In 1526, Emperor Babur claimed the fort after defeating the Lodis at the Battle of Panipat. Briefly taken by the Suri rulers, it was ultimately recaptured by Akbar, who chose Agra as his capital. Lunchtime arrives, and you have the flexibility to dine at a restaurant of your choice.
