Choose a flexible pick-up time from your hotel between 8 AM and 10 AM. First, visit the beautiful ninth gate of Jaipur known as the Patrika Gate. Admire the colorful arches which look picture-perfect in the morning light. Next, head to the city to visit Rajasthan's oldest museum, home to miniature paintings, costumes, folk art, and sculptures. The third stop is a true landmark of Jaipur - the stunning honeycomb building of Hawa Mahal ('The Palace of Winds'). Over 220 years old, this beautiful building was designed for royal ladies to look at the ongoings of the bazaar below without being seen themselves. After this, your guide will take you to the impressive City Palace which offers a blend of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture. Spend some free time exploring the 4 opulent gates, each depicting a season. Pause for lunch at a local restaurant - you can ask your guide for recommendations. Then make a final stop at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Jantar Mantar. These giant fascinating sculptures are in fact tools that have been used for astronomy since the 1700s.
