Bulit by Maharana Raj Singh in 1660 A.D. , Rajsamand Lake lies 66 Kms. away from Udaipur , towards Delhi.

Fed by the Gomti River , The lake used to facilitate landings of water planes before , during and even after the second world war.

The lake has a beautiful Dam , built mostly by white marble , and also has arches as well as steps to the water level.

Rajsamand has been providing water for a number of generations now and even today is a favorite leisure spot for the locals.

Visit Rajsamand for its wonderful arches , cenotaphs and attractive marble pavilions.
